Lorain: Good place to live?
Hey all, as the title says, thinking about taking a job offer in Lorain. Lived about five years out in Toledo but and other parts of Ohio and Pennsylvania but have never visited Lorain and not sure what to expect. Is it a decent place to live? Is the area considered up-and-coming, stable, or declining economically?
I read somewhere that Lorain County is one of the fastest growing counties in Ohio but wasn't sure if that means there is good industry/business there or a place to live long-term. Sorry for the terrible sentence structure, writing on my phone. Appreciate any advice. Thank you .

I grew up there in the 70s and early 80s. Hated every minute while I watched it decay. Joined the Navy out of high school, and only went back to visit family. My grandmother passed away and my aunt and cousin betrayed me, so, I won't ever go there again.
