Gunshot in Sandy Hill?

Did anyone else hear that? Near Besserer and Chapel at 8:27pm.

It sounded like a single gunshot but honestly I don’t know what gunshots sound like in real life. What else could it have been?

I’m in lowertown and didn’t hear anything from my place on Chapel closer to Rideau, however I would not be the least bit surprised if it was. Hope it wasn’t. Stay safe.

I heard something bangs tonight and I’m on Cobourg and Besserrer but they were firecrackers. Hopefully that is what you heard.

I heard a single loud bang around that time from Green Island.

there was one earlier as well (didn't note the time, after 5pm) that was definitely a firework cause it had the crackle effect, so I assumed the second was also a firework.

If you think you heard a gunshot, call the police. It's usually firecrackers, but it's not like gunshots are unheard of here, either.
