Let’s reach the next goal of $1.5 million by the end of 2025 for LM. This December marks one year since his arrest, and we want to ensure he can continue covering his legal expenses.
As he fights serious charges in a corrupt judicial system, YOU have the power to make an impact.
Every contribution matters, and your support makes a real difference. Join the global movement and stand for liberty and justice for LM and FOR ALL.

On Tuesday, Sept. 16, 9 a.m., at 100 Centre Street (NYC), the case People v. Luigi Mangione will be heard. We want our message — justice, healthcare, and people over profit — to stay visible outside the courthouse.
Your support will keep billboard trucks on the streets, showing that we won’t stay silent against corruption.
Oscar-winning filmmaker Alex Gibney, who has made films about Enron, Scientology and Russian President Vladmir Putin, has set his sights on another controversial figure: Luigi Mangione.
Gibney, who has been working on the project since the end of last year, has now sold the project to Hulu.
The streamer has greenlit the untitled project with filming underway.
As the next court date for Luigi's New York state proceedings is now less than a month away, this week we are launching a dedicated campaign demanding video recording of the court hearing on 16th September. New York is one of the strictest states when it comes to live broadcasting and still cameras during proceedings, and the decision to allow cameras is entirely up to the judge presiding.
We hope that by launching this campaign, sharing the petition, and using the #camerasinthecourtroom hashtag on social media and in donation messages, and by remaining diplomatic and polite towards decision makers, we can all come together to compel journalists to ask the court for the hearing to be recorded, for the prosecution to hear our voices and not disagree with any request from Luigi's defense counsel for recording, and to disallow the various law enforcement agencies and media outlets spinning and controlling the narrative.
Dave Franco is open to the idea of playing Luigi Mangione in a biopic.
The actor and his wife, Alison Brie, made an appearance on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live, where he was asked about portraying Mangione.
“Oh, how do I answer this?” Franco said that after being asked by a fan if he would play Mangione, social media came to a consensus that the actor should play him.
Franco added, “No one has approached me about it yet, I’ll say that. This is something that more people in my life reached out about this exact thing than anything else that has ever happened.
In the end, the Together star seemed to be open to the idea if he was offered the role, with him adding, “Let’s just say I’m open if the right people… and let’s just leave it at that.”
Luigi Mangione, the man accused of murdering UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, has been granted his request for a laptop while he remains in federal custody awaiting trial.
Mangione's attorneys requested a personal computer so he can prepare for trial and help in his own defense. Similar provisions have been made for other defendants at Metropolitan Detention Center Brooklyn, the federal prison where Mangione is being held.
The Manhattan District Attorney's office had argued against the laptop request, saying MDC Brooklyn "has ample access to desktop computers."
The laptop will not be connected to the internet, and Mangione will only be able to access case-related information, like documents and videos.
Letters sent are from United States, Germany, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, Finland, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Spain, Ireland, Portugal, France, Malaysia and China.
On July 25th, Mr. Mangione’s defense counsel filed a motion requiring the government to provide the aggravating factors to seek the death penalty. Of course, the bare minimum that we demand from a “free” and “democratic” country is transparency, especially a country that claims to be so proud of their own “freedom” and “democracy”. Mr. Mangione, as an American citizen, should be allowed to know what the government is trying to prove to seek DP, right?
Apparently, no. The same country that wishes to be “great again” requested 30 days to oppose the motion that made a simple question: “why do you want to murder Mr. Mangione?”
This is not the posture of a country so called “free”. In a “democratic” country, people should be allowed to live, from having free healthcare and easy access to treatments to not being executed by your own government.
Because of our advocacy, we also have great news: Sen. Alex Padilla, from California, showed great sympathy to our cause to end the DP. Right now, he is answering the American citizens that worries about Mr. Mangione well-being. Keep sending messages to your lawmaker so this unfair and horrible punishment will finally be over. We will win this!
In a court filing Friday night, Luigi Mangione posed what his lawyers say is an urgent question: Why is the federal government seeking the death penalty?
Responding on Monday, federal prosecutors not only opposed tipping their hand, but successfully asked the judge for a month to explain why.
"The government intends to oppose the defendant's motion and respectfully requests a period of thirty days to file its response," prosecutors wrote in a tersely-worded letter to the judge, who set an August 27 reply deadline.

It will take the defense considerable time to prepare its challenges to the prosecution claims, particularly to the claim of "grave risk of death to additional persons," Moskowitz wrote.
"The Notice does not identify what other people were put in grave risk of death," he wrote.
"Indeed, given that the shooting of Mr. Thompson was done at close range and early in the morning, when the street was nearly empty, it is hard to imagine, without further specificity, how the government intends to prove this aggravating factor."
The need for speed is "acute," Moskowitz added, "since the court has expressed its intention to try this case in 2026."
