Ask Luxembourg CSSF experience

Anyone here is willing and capable to share their work experience at CSSF? I would welcome general comments and also those who had any experience with the banking supervisory teams (incl. onsite). Topics such as: 1. Compensation 2. Culture 3. Work life balance 4. Progression/growth Are all welcomed.

For context, I’m an expat with 8 years of experience in Lux.

I've known a few people working for either the CSSF or their insurance sibling CAA. The feedback has always been the same. Good pay and perks but dead boring. Some had decent teams others less so. To me their experiences always sounded like any other government job.

I know some people who work at the CSSF and my understanding is that the work-life balance is very much not skewed towards work, in my sample at least.

Should you have landed a job in CSSF ( congrats mate) , go there, unless you work for EU Insitutions/ EIB / ESM or Nato.

Once you join try to move to ECB, and thank me later,
