Ask Luxembourg How is the basic fit gym in Gasperich?
This question was probably asked a thousand times.
I am thinking about going there since i work not that far away from there and Basic fit Gare is apparently not a good one, but ive seen some really bad reviews about this one as well and was wondering if it‘s worth going there? Thanks in advance.

All depends what time you planning to go. Its not the largest basic fit imo. I go to the one in Foetz but been to the Gasperich one a few times. People are okay but less machines than others BFit. Like there only one chest press rack for example. Going after work like 5-6PM is going to be rough. Go before work imo

It's a circus after work, but if you manage to find time at like 15:00, it's golden.
There's like 4 showers in the men's room, so when it's busy, it's really not enough

I can‘t since i work until 17:00… in that case i just take a shower at home, that‘s not really the issue for me but if you can’t even train because it‘s too crowded at that time, then yeah am not sure.

As the others have said, it's ok and does the job. Most negative thing, is the parking is a bit naf, and people can't park in the lines. However the lines are also difficult to see.
I also think they don't have a space for the virtual fitness courses, but I could have missed it. They do have spin cycling though.

Parking is very limited and only 1 fly machine. But overall ok, it has everything you need

So i guess it‘s also difficult to find a parking place if everyone goes there after work?!

I go at least 4 times a week (after work, around 6/7PM) and never had trouble finding a parking spot either inside or in the street.

Thats good to hear. And is it difficult to train at that time because it‘s to crowded?

I never had any trouble with it, sometimes some bad timing for a certain machine which already has three people working in (I always ask up to two if it's ok, since I take long pauses between sets) but I just move on to another exercise whilst waiting for it to clear. All in all, it's a good gym, that could have a few more machines, but for beginners/intermediate lifters it's more than enough

Thank you for your help. I will maybe try and get a day pass and go from there.

It’s a crime that there are no student gyms here. In the Netherlands, we have a gym for students which costs like €130 a year.
Like, how do they expect people on little to no income to afford going to the gym???

The normal ones are already packed enough I don’t know where they would fit

It’s quite filthy. There’s a few other gyms in the area that might be worth the higher price.

Didn‘t Jim‘s take over Painworld? how is that one?

It’s decent but the equipment is on the older side

Factory 4 is expensive but probably the best in the area. Also a new one will be opening in Howald l

Howald sounds interesting. Maybe i try a day pass for basic fit in Gasperich and see if i like there. Even after work at 5 and see how crowded it is. They got a pass like that right?

Factory is just to expensive for me. 50€ is what am willing to pay for a gym, not over 100

I was going there for a while and it's pretty okay.
I was always slightly bugged by the lack of windows, and it does get busy straight after work. But it's one of the few 24/7 gyms, so I used to go around 10/11pm to avoid the crowds.
