I want to clear up the misinformation about my son Raja. I’ve been confirmed that the wrestler ( Stewart Smith aka Syko Stu) is awake and stable. Raja was unexpectedly hit in the side of the head by him moments before Smith’s match, Raja was told that he could get his “payback”in the ring,i thought it was apart of the show. It was bad judgement, and a work that went wrong. Raja is a MMA fighter not a pro wrestler and had no business involved in an event like this. I don’t condone my son’s actions AT ALL! He suffered a concussion from sparring only days ago and had no business doing anything remotely close to physical contact. As a father, im deeply concerned with his health AND the well being of Mr. Smith. That being said I’m very upset that any of this happened, but my main concern now is that Mr. Smith will make a speedy recovery.I apologize on his behalf and to KICK for the situation.

I had a blast watching UFC Shanghai yesterday. I noticed that many of the fighters that represented China are of ethnic minorities, like Tibetans, Mongolians, I believe there was a fighter of Kazakh ethnicity too. I find this to be an interesting observation. Even those with seemingly Han Chinese names at times come from these regions, such as Li Jing Liang.
I wonder if, culturally, combat sports are more popular in those regions. To some extent, it makes sense as wrestling is a big part of central Asian culture. I have also noticed that a large percentage of these fighters, including Han Chinese fighters, come from the North.
I'm Chinese diaspora, of southern Han Chinese descent, so I'm somewhat familiar with Chinese culture, but also quite unfamiliar with the culture of ethnic minorities in China. I'm hoping some Chinese MMA fans can chip in their views.
Edit: I read u/wandsouj 's post from some months ago and if you're seeing this, I hope you can contribute your views too.

"I think he gave us what he could. Then, when we were also talking about the potential fights, he wanted fights that were outside of MMA so that maybe he wouldn't risk loosing that record. He wanted to wait for Paris, which is going to happen now. He's going with Pitbull. I think it's fine. We probably gave ourselves what we could. It's the next logical step for him. It wouldn't make sense anywhere else. He wrote nice things about us. He made a nice goodbye video for OKTAGON. Our doors will be always open for him," promoter Novotný said in his MMA podcast.
"We talked for a long time about where to move it, how to do it, about money and so on. We were more or less agreed. It was Losene's big dream, but it was up and down – it wasn't clear whether he would find an agreement with UFC or not. He rejected everyone except the UFC."
"The PFL offered him a lot of money. I told him: If you want it, go for it. Get it out of them and help the PFL have a bit of harder time again. They offered him a lot more money than, I don't want to say, UFC will ever offer to anyone. Because Losene has that potential to become a star and a champion, earning $500,000 and more per fight. In addition, I think he also has advertising potential, where there could be more money," continued Novotný, who believes that Keita will do great in the UFC.

About 3 and 1/2 years ago I took a job that ended up having a terrible impact on my quality of life. I went from watching every single Apex event, to missing nearly every PPV. Even after I left, I was just so out of the habit of watching fights on Saturday, I never picked it back up. I have watched maybe 5 PPV's in the last 3 years.
So just now, about 30 seconds ago, I thought "Fuck...there are so many fighters I don't even know now...FUCK, I don't even know who all the champs are right now, I bet I don't even know some of them!"....
So I just checked the champs list, and I am pretty sure I have never seen Jack Della Fight. I was kinda shocked how well I know everyone else on there. Still begs the question....Who don't I know about? Who is absolutely on fire right now?

Rampage’s statement on this whole situation just goes to show why it even happened in the first place. The trivialization of his actions, calling it a “misunderstanding”, clearing his son’s name before even mentioning the victim. His son is laying in the bed his father made. Fuck both rampage and his psychotic spawn.
EDIT: no, I’m not saying the situation is rampages fault for the smooth brains, it’s 100 percent Raja and his grown ass. I’m talking about his response and how cowardly it was. Of course raja is the truest coward and perpetrator here. I’m trying to illustrate a point that it’s clear why raja is the way he is. Lol not hard to grasp
