MMA fans are unbelievably dramatic and dependent on watching their heroes rise and their nemesis fall. So for some, unless DDP flops around like a fish, bawling, begging for forgiveness for being a pretender to the throne, they will feel that he's deluded.

This is why as an MMA fan, it's vital to cultivate additional hobbies and interests, and not get so invested in the sport emotionally--or financially. 😅
