That has always been such a weird thing to me. Like what are you so selfish that you believe god is making plans specifically for you over the other people? Or do you accept that god may plan for you to be a loser for the rest of your life? Would they believe in that plan as well?

I’ll never forget when Buffalo Bills receiver Stevie Johnson went the other way and just straight up went off on God after he dropped a pass.

Maybe the best headline of all time.

Reminds me of one of my favorite Onion articles

God Answers Prayers Of Paralyzed Little Boy. ‘No,’ Says God

Yes? Loss is not always a bad thing if you improve your mindset later on.

yes, a good Christian should accept himself losing (or for that matter having the most horrendous life ever) as part of god’s plan. That’s what the book of Job was all about.

He was rich guy who was very religious and devout. But then god does kinda like a bet with the devil. The devil argue that job believes in god only because he has had a good life and the moment that changed he would stop being religious. But in the case of job that didn’t happened. Being the learning that your circumstances in your life shouldn’t affect your faith or something like that.

Why wouldn't a god who is "responsible" for creating a Universe with Billions of Galaxies and trillions of starts care about a person's sporting event on Saturday?

Well the idea is that oversees everything

He must be a man of many varying moods

God can’t be making plans for everyone, despite being omnipotent and omnipresent?😂😂

Muslim fighters use their religion as a form of strength in the fight game: Reddit - heck yes!

Christian fighter does the same: Reddit - wow this is so weird to me you guys

There’s plenty of criticism of Muslims on Reddit and especially on this sub. What are you on about?

Muslims get way worse criticism than this man lol.

It's painfully obvious he's mimicking your reasoning.

If you say so.

I also say so, due to having the ability to read.

Doubt it, because it has nothing to do with the bias I was specifically referencing and instead resorted to assumptions on what I personally believe.

Yes, let’s all remember how persecuted Christians are.

They are in parts of the world

Proving my point. Thank you.

They believe he has a plan for everyone. This isn't that hard to wrap your head around. I'm not even religious and I know what they mean

That’s absolutely how it is. Loss or win, all parts of God’s plan. Steroid and hard drug abuse, as well as cheating on your wife and occasionally assaulting her, believe it or not: also part of God’s plan!

That's called being tested as one of gods soldiers dude. Not really hard to understand.
