Bullish 📈 Social Dominance is SKYROCKETING for $MSTR

Post image

- Green line is stock price over the past 7 days

- Orange line is social dominance over the same time period

- Historically, spikes in social dominance has led to a bump in $MSTR price

*NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE*

I just found this interesting and wanted to share

Ok. But what is social dominance?

Quantifiable chatter regarding a topic across all target social platforms. Both positive and negative attention factor in.

Makes me wonder how much it works like the greed index

Sort of. But this is just talk in general. It’s likely mostly people talking shit about it at the moment.

So it could just be chatter asking when we're going to 2000k?

1

u/Shiznoz222 23h ago

It's just a measure of how much it's being talked about/mentioned, in general

I’d like to see a more detailed answer, like how it’s calculated. Do you know where I can find it?

Exactly! What is "social dominance?" 😅

I've made my peace with this. I know people say to zoom out, but not everyone can. I can, fortunately. To the others that can't, I'd say to take this as a learning experience to not buy in into the hype, like any other stock. The price was 250 not so long ago, after nearing the 600 point.

Notice the hype and pump. Manage your fomo and DCA in, and when you feel like the price has dropped to a level you would be ready to take a larger position, do it. After a pump, there is ALWAYS a drop in price because of people raking in profits.

In a few words, learn from this and make better decisions so that you also can zoom out and appreciate.

so you dca all the way from 250 to 600 and still carrrying it? It must turn red by now, you shouldve sell than repeat the "zoom out"mantra.

Very low correlation it seems from that chart.

I would say a bit of a lag term between the two.

Social dominance starts to curl up, price goes up 24 hours later.

The other thing I could not fit on the chart is social sentiment. It is important whether that social dominance is positive or negative!

I think your question is, how can Saylor use this to hit the ATM.

Is social dominance to MSTR like the global m2 money supply is to Bitcoin? Like are we about to start seeing a bunch of charts about social dominance now?

I like how people always find new mumbo jumbo to believe in…

next up: BTC supply shock! 🤡

lol…are we finding new way to cope? I’m buying call then.

2 questions

1) Where can we see this chart for ourselves?

2) Can you zoom out and share screenshot so that we can see if there is a high correlation between social dominance previous major rallies?

The social dominance is chatter about its sinking price, shorting it, being a scam, etc. etc. Not sure if that's helping matters...

Can I have what you are smoking

It’s just chatter. Enron had huge social dominance after bankruptcy for example… It quantifies chatter and only that… Without some math to show correlation you really can’t say anything except that you are high on something…

u/Mr_4w3som3 1d ago

So if marketing promotes it, more people buy it…

People just like charts with lines I see...

what site is this?

1

u/RevolutionaryPhoto24 1d ago

GEX is far more helpful.

1

u/TakeWallStreetdown 1d ago

Wouldn’t it rocket for Enron at some point ie it’s really not meaningful for price action

1

u/Emmanuell89 23h ago

So people could be saying "fuck MSTR the stock is going down !Saylor is a fraud , Bitcoin isnt real !! "

and social dominance will go up ?

1

u/Few-Support7194 22h ago

More people are scared of losing their money and ask if they should sell, so time to sell.

u/Affectionate_Knee_96 16h ago

My e trade isn’t skyrocketing, that’s my favorite metric

1

u/Substantial_Bonus168 14h ago

Whats the source? Do they say how they collect the data? Seems very weird and suspicious

1

u/Substantial_Bonus168 14h ago

You gotta make sure how its been calculated and didnt got miscalculated by someone spamming "MSTR" in some chat 😂
