If we only judged people by the worst things they've done, America would have ZERO heroes.

If we only judged people by the worst things they've done, heroism would be impossible. "Billy was one of the first responders during 9/11. His actions saved at least a hundred people at the cost of his own life. But when he was 5 he shoved his little brother a little too hard while they were playing and made him cry. Billy is no hero."

Well if we only judge people by the worst things they've done, there wouldn't be any heroes anywhere

If the worst thing they’ve done is bad enough it absolutely should be what they’re judged by.

Right, and you have to view this incident through the lens of circumstance imo. Shacarri is a little black girl from LA, where you can't call the police. How do you think any problems are solved there? Sure she gets to visit outside the hood to go run at the olympics but it takes a long time to erase hood habits from inside you. Sometimes it takes a public wakeup call to even realize something is wrong. A little 5'1 black girl bumping a man into a wall is not the same DV as a drunk mechanic popping his wife in the eye because dinner is cold.

The circumstance was she did it in public in front of a bunch of strangers like it was nothing. Imagine how bad it is when no one is around.

She is 5'1", and a woman. He'll be fine.

Nobody seems to have a problem judging a man who assaults a woman, but when it’s the other way around out comes the double standard.
