Mafia: The Old Country collectibles in new game

What happens to my collectibles when I start a new game. I only need the chapter-bound ones for 100% but I also want to replay the game. Can I just start a new game and keep my progress?

I think you’re able to just replay it and keep your progress. I’ve played the story twice and I still had all of my collectibles, although I didn’t have very many. I haven’t played the free roam yet, so take this with a grain of salt lol
