The real reason for Dumper's home runs today.
galleryWife and I spent the day on the boat with friends listening to the game. Homers came each time we cracked open a new Big Dumper beer. You're welcome.

In response to the division odds post from yesterday
The mariners odds to win the division went up 8 percent in one day. The jumps will only become more dramatic as the season goes on, it is exceedingly normal for this to happen.
This isn’t to say they’re definitely winning the division now or whatever. I’m just not going to be reactive to big jumps in playoff/division odds until the final week or so of the season. Caveat for this is if they fall under like 15% or above 95%. I’d suggest y’all do the same, but at the end of the day you can fan however you want.
(Sorry for the awkward crop, I’m on mobile)

That doesn’t seem that good
Team seems very predictable and easy to shut down offensively. I know there’s lots of season left but a team this reliant on the long ball and pitcher matchups seems destined to fall short of a deep postseason run. I hope my intuition is wrong but I just don’t see it this season for a meaningful run.
