Henlo frens!
Good to see all of you here UwU.
Grab on to your bodypillows, I have a smol announcement about the purpose of this subreddit.
This community is meant as a fun, lighthearted place where we can commiserate with each other about those annoying little irritations that hinder our day to day enjoyment in life.
That means that suitable posts here can be about my children.
And things like a wall socket or tile being placed out of allignment. A crack in a phone screen. Duckling shit on your new car. Incomprehensible software. Mismatched buttons. You know, the little things.
This subreddit isn't meant to incite rage mobs that go after people. For that reason we say:
No posts about being banned from subreddit. No posts about up- or down-votes. No posts about shitty moderators or users or subreddits. No posts about reddit.
All jokes and tomfoolery aside, that sort of thing gets us in trouble with site admins. If we allow one type of post about reddit it then very easily moprhs into allowing posts that directly call out other subreddits or users, we just can't allow any of it.
That rule already existed for years and we have just made it more clearly visible in the sidebar on old and new reddit. We're gonna be a little strict on it for a bit I'm afraid. 🥺
Thank you all for being awesome and have a very Merry Christmas! Celebrate Christmas in the traditional European way, with a suasage roll!

Bacon McGriddle meal with an ice tea that also now comes in a cup the size of a small coffee and an extra hash brown for almost $14. Regular medium sized town in MD, not some tourist destination or anything that would inflate the normal menu price.
Pulled the sandwich out and my first reaction was to just laugh at how ridiculous this corporate greed has gotten. Realized it was the about the same size as the ketchup packet for my hash brown.
And I had to order it myself on some 4ft tall tablet. What the fuck.

My girlfriend and I decided to deep clean our apartment today after work so we could enjoy a nice clean house during the long weekend. I pull everything out the bathroom, scrub the hell out of the sink shower and toilet, etc.
And then, when we were done cleaning, she says "I'm going to dye my hair, sorry for whats about to happen to the bathroom."
Girl- you have all weekend to do that, why do it when the bathroom is fresh and clean. I was like "oh okay are you going to clean it when your done?"
And she said "I guess where's the bathroom cleaning stuff"
Now mind you, we keep all of our cleaning stuff in one place. Also she said it with so much sass-- like damn sorry for asking you to clean YOUR MESS.
I'm sure her hair will look great though. Its gonna be blue. I guess I'm lucky that this is the worst of my issues.

Host only wanted to offer to return the cleaning fee for $190 when I paid over $1,000 for just the Airbnb. Walked in and the cleaners forgot that they were supposed to clean the house from the last guests.

For those who who don't know, safelite is a windshield repair company. Not blaming the driver or anything but I find it really ironic lol

My under 10 year old kid had a medical procedure earlier this week and was not looking forward to it. I told him I’d get him a prize for dealing with it and he rocked it. On the way home he asked to go by Target to get a hanging pack ($10 or so) of Pokemon cards. I said good call and off we went.
When we got to Target we walked right up and the shelves were loaded. He was drooling…He started to grab a hanging pack when a worker stopped him and told him they were restocking and there was a line. I looked up and there was a line 20-30 deep of ADULTS. My son wanted to leave but I told him no worries let’s wait because that’s what he had his heart set on for his prize. 45 minutes later the line started moving. By the time we were allowed to check out what was left there was practically nothing - no hanger packs, just a box or two of something $75+. It was super disappointing.
Kid was literally trying to get a feel better prize for a medical procedure and grown adults took every last one of the hanging packs and most everything else. So freaking frustrating😔
ETA: several adults in the line made it clear they were there to make money off the cards. I agree, not all were scalpers but a decent number were by their own admission. These guys walked out of the store with shipping boxes full of the cards.

They once pooped infront our door as well and now this.
There is no CCTV facilities.
Edit: People seem to not see my replies to other comments and the post title where I said they cut off everyones shoes in the building means everyones shoes who lives in the entire building, and everyone keeps their shoes outside, its very normal here. Keeping your shoes outside isn't bothering anyone in the building cause they're doing the same. Also its not like people leaving shoes at the walking area, they keep the shoes in front of their own apartment which doesn't block the common walking space. Whoever doing this is maybe an outsider, is doing it either because they have problem with landlord or they think this is funny to irritate people.
Edit 2: Again, it is not because the shoes are outside, this is not the issue at all. Keeping your shoes outside was never an issue where I live. You need to understand that every family in an entire building keeping their shoes outside means this isn't something unusual but very normal thing.

This was apparently procured for 10 Million Pesos ($175,000) by a Mayor of a local town.
This is an on-going scandal/fiasco in the Philippines, where these shady procurements are unearthed.
Mildly infuriating at the very least.
