Kroger double chocolate chip cookies

Looking for a mimic recipe for Kroger double chocolate chip cookies. Stock number is #4984

NOT the soft top variants. Kroger no longer sells these and I miss them. Very flat, between chewy and crispy.

How to create the booster juice strawberries and cream booster balls?

Hello everyone, so a few months ago around like March booster juice had booster balls that were strawberries and cream flavor (in Canada at least I’m not sure about USA) and they were so delicious! But it was only a seasonal thing and they don’t have them anymore :(.

My question is, does anyone have any idea how they would be made? I’ve tried other flavours and they all have peanut butter (I don’t like PB) which I think takes away the flavour of all the other ingredients. The strawberries and cream ones didn’t taste like that at all so I’m wondering what they would have used instead.

I’m been looking at protein ball recipes recently and they all use some sort of nut butter. I recently made some with almond butter and tried that for the first time which was good but I don’t think the strawberries and cream ones would have had almond butter in them so what else would they have used? It wasn’t really nutty flavour I don’t think so I don’t even know what else they would use.

If anyone has any ideas please let me know!! Thank you :)

Tgi recipes help!

Hi all, was wondering if there were any chefs who worked in tgi (uk) the one where I lived closed down (NI) and I would like to recreate some things from there for a surprise for my husband on our 10th wedding anniversary. Does anyone have a step to step guide for the boneless buffalo bites, the jack Daniel’s glaze and I think it’s like a blue cheese dip that came with the bites? I’ve found some recipes online but would prefer them from someone who’s tried and loved them themselves rather than something I’ve googled! Thank you :)

Burger King’s apple green slime sauce

Homemade Apple Green Slime Dipping Sauce

Ingredients: - 1 cup High Fructose Corn Syrup - 1/4 cup Water - 1/4 cup Sugar - 1/4 cup Apple Juice Concentrate - 2 tablespoons Honey - 2 tablespoons Distilled Vinegar - 1 teaspoon Xanthan Gum - 1/2 teaspoon Apple or Green Apple Flavoring - 1/4 teaspoon Salt - 1/4 teaspoon Phosphoric Acid (optional, for tartness) - 1/4 teaspoon Potassium Sorbate (optional, for preservation) - 1/4 teaspoon Citric Acid - Food coloring (Yellow #5 and Blue #1) to achieve the desired green color

Instructions: 1. Combine the Syrups and Juices: In a mixing bowl, combine the high fructose corn syrup, water, sugar, apple juice concentrate, and honey. Mix well until the sugar is dissolved.

  1. Add Acidity: Stir in the distilled vinegar and citric acid. If using phosphoric acid, add it at this stage as well.

  2. Thicken the Sauce: Sprinkle the xanthan gum into the mixture while continuously whisking to prevent clumping. This will help thicken the sauce.

  3. Flavoring: Add the apple or green apple flavoring and salt. Mix until fully incorporated.

  4. Preservation: If you’re using potassium sorbate, add it now to help preserve the sauce.

  5. Coloring: Add a few drops of yellow and blue food coloring until you achieve the desired green hue. Mix well.

  6. Adjust Consistency and Flavor: Taste the sauce and adjust sweetness, acidity, or thickness as needed. You can add more honey for sweetness or more vinegar for tanginess.

  7. Refrigerate: Store the sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for a few hours before serving to let the flavors meld.

Came out really good, only difference is it comes out a little cloudier than the original due to incapabilities of obtaining ultra-filtered juices and specialized, crystal-clear syrups. If anyone else tries this recipe let me know what you think.

[Request]Mama Muccis Shrimp Linguine

Searching for a mimic recipe for mama muccis shrimp linguine from Chart House. It’s a creamy basil pesto linguine with shrimp, prosciutto, goat cheese, and red paper flakes for a little bit of a kick.

I can’t seem to find anything like it online.

Browns Social house garlic aioli

There’s a bazillion recipes for garlic aioli and i’ve been trying to replicate it with different additions but it always comes up a little short. now i’ve brought my kid there once and he’s tried it and is a convert too. He tried to get it out of the waitress but she wouldn’t crack. its got some bits added to it probably parmesan and bacon maybe. kid thought it was chopped ham or something. anyway if anyone has a lead on it i’d love some hints. thanks

Philly/NY Famous Halal cart lamb

I have seen a bunch of recipes for halal cart style chicken but not much for the lamb. Every other lamb I have tried is so gamey and sour, but the lamb over rice has no gamey flavor and is so tender/crunchy like seared meatballs.

Are there any special ingredients or techniques to achieve this at home? It's definitely ground but is it lamb or maybe mutton?

McAlister’s Chicken and Dumplings soup

I’ve looked before and don’t really have hope I can get a copycat recipe, but I’m hoping to find something in that general style. I know chicken and dumplings vary a lot by type of dumpling. McCalister’s seems to be the biscuit type of dumpling more than the noodle type. I don’t want to try just any recipe because any recipe, because any time I’ve tried it in the past I didn’t care for it. Any suggestions?

Boston pizza creamy Thai sauce

Hi! I’m pregnant and have a mighty craving for the old (2023??) BP chicken tacos. In the tacos were grilled/crispy chicken, lettuce, tomato, shredded cheese, tortilla strips, and a creamy Thai sauce. I have scoured the internet trying to find a copycat but can’t manage to. Anyone who worked there-do you know what was in the sauce?? Thanks!

Doritos Blaze Recipe?

Hey, my friend's favorite chips are Doritos Blaze (purple bag), but those were discontinued a long long time ago unfortunately. He talks about them all the time and how they were the best chips ever.

Does anyone have a recipe for them? Mainly the powder blend they use for that chip. Someone said that it's identical to the "Screamin' Sriracha" (red and green bag), so if that's true this would work too (though this is also discontinued I think).

Others say it's similar to the "Golden Siracha" chips, but my friend doesn't think so. I guess last resort if you've got nothing maybe suggest a spice mix I could add to these siracha chips?

Thanks!

[Request] Sushi Sam (Kona HI) Special Roll

I recently went to this sushi restaurant and had the special roll, which lists "Shrimp tempura, real crab, baked scallop on top". I'm more so interested in the scallop sauce they put on top, which the restaurant mentioned they used whipped cream in.

I’m looking for a recipe close to the trader joe's petite pumpkin spice cookies. Especially with the yogurt icing that you dip the cookies in and let harden. Similar to the mother’s animal cookies.

[request] Boston Pizza’s beef used in their nachos

I love thier nachos. I don’t know what they do with their beef, but it’s so good. It looks almost like Donair meat but I don’t think that’s what it is. When I search online I just get their menu or a generic nachos recipe, which focuses more on the toppings.

I’d like to know how to mimic the beef that they use. Being a chain restaurant, I wouldn’t be surprised if it comes in pre-made portions. If anyone works in the kitchen there, I appreciate any insight.

Thanks!
