Living in Beausoleil?

I recently got accepted into IUM Monaco - and have ben on the lookout for an apartment and where to stay some place close to Monaco so it’s easier to get to the uni etc.

How is it living in Beausoleil? What are some pros/ cons - is it better (and safer) when compared to Nice?

Beausoleil Pros:

- Close to MC, literally the street above,

  • Walking distance to IUM
  • Enjoying all the amenities of MC but without such a high rent (MC studios can reach 3/4/5K).
  • Safe - Nice has changed a lot - I wouldn't live there (certain areas of course) even if I considered it at some point years ago.

Cons:

- Not a lot of offer accomodation-wise

  • Depending on your budget it can be pretty expensive - a studio there was 1800 euros per month. You could get a studio in Nice for way cheaper. But the commute can take 1hour + by train ( if youre lucky) and/or bus.

If I was you and I found an appartment to rent in Beausoleil I wouldn't even consider Nice.
I'd consider Nice if budget was an issue, or if I knew people there. Coming and going being a student, you'd save so much time if you're near by.

Other close places are : Cap d'ail & Roquebrune Cap Martin. If you can afford a little Moped you'd still save so much tIme compared to Nice.

Congrats about being accepted to IUM!

This helps a lot!! Yeah my thoughts were the same that’s why I was asking for Beausoleil - since it’s a walking distance to IUM and MC and felt bit better to be suited there than in Nice.

Thanks a ton!
