Beach Clubs & Restaurants - Guys Trip In September

Thanks in advance: First time to Nice and Monaco coming up mid-September. 4 guys, 40s, guys trip. Would love to hit the best beach/day club in either Nice or Monaco (I think Monaco is the first choice for us)
Looked at La Note Bleue and Monte Carlo Beach Club. Any other suggestions? Looking to make reservations ASAP. Would like a place with good beach access/food/drinks and of course crowd. Thanks!

Also- any restaurant recs appreciated!

La Reserve or Eden Plage private beaches at Plage Mala in Cap d'Ail. Both have restaurants and music. You can walk there along the coastal path from Plage Marquet right next to Fontvieille, Monaco, or down quite a lot of steps from Cap d'Ail TER station.

Larvotto Beach is free, you just need to pay for the chairs.

Hey, in my 40s, and have been vacationing in that area for 30 years. But I must ask, what’s your budget and what kind of ambiance do you like?

The beaches in Nice are not that great, but other places like Cannes, St Tropez And Golf de Juan are excellent and offer many different types of places. If you like partying, the La guerrite is an experience.

The restaurant options are endless, but again will depend on your budget and likes. Would you like the classical high end Michelin experience, younger up and coming experimental chefs or just looking to flex with bottle service at a table?

Thanks for the reply! We only have a few days before heading to London... staying in Nice. Doing one day exploring Eze and Monaco, then want a beach club day. Right now I'm reserved at La Note Bleue in Monaco, but maybe the train to Cannes is better? Want a chill vibe, nice beach, maybe DJ and good crowd. Nothing that's filled with 21 year olds, but also nothing that's too sedate!

La note bleue seams vey chill, but I must admit that I’ve never been there. I’m unsure how many 21 y/o you are gonna find at any of the beach clubs in September, my experience with Monaco is the opposite, very high median age. Especially outside of the summer season. I know they are doing great work to draw in a younger crowd (let’s say sub 67), but unsure how it will be at that time.

Cannes is more mixed: young and old, tourist and french, new money and old money, even no money. A lot of parties on the beach in the evenings as well.

You should absolutely see Eze, and it is quite close to Menton. But my money would be on Antibes old town.

But, Monaco is great and you’ll have an amazing time 100%. Just come back and tell us all about it.

The only thing I'll mention is if you're going to La Note Bleue on a weekend (especially on a Sunday) and it happens to be an F1 weekend, usually that's the only restaurant that shows races and so you may get a slightly different vibe than on a normal weekend.

Do you know where you're staying yet? I honestly really like the private beach at Le Meridien hotel if you haven't set up your accommodation, but that's definitely a much, much more chill vibe than Monte Carlo Beach Club.
