Everyone needs to pay artists.

We purchase media/merch. That's all we need to do. People profiting off their music needs to pay them properly. It's an entirely different thing. It's not on you, or me, or anyone else in the thread here to pay artists really.

Jesus fucking christ, what is it you think I'm saying here? I'm being as simple as fucking possible.

I pay them for their music, I pay them for their merch, that's me paying them. If you do the same, that's you fucking paying them.

I'd love if shitty corporations like Spotify paid them their due to, but we don't live in that world. We live in this one, a capitalist hellscape where those guys make the rules and they don't have to pay.

It really just kinda seems like you're desperate to leave the option open for yourself to have free music at the musicians expense. As long as those corporations are ripping them off, your conscience is clean and you can have free music. If I'm doing you wrong here and you do pay musicians for their music, then what the fuck are you still talking about? Piss off.

Wow dude, chill out. No interest reading beyond the first paragraph if you're gonna start it like that. Have a good one.
