why did shaq constantly shit on his teammates?
out of his NBA world shaq is a great person though. he donates so much but it seems in his lakers years he donated more shit than kindness.

Why is Babe Ruth still considered the GOAT in baseball but not Wilt in Basketball?
Babe Ruth is still considered like 3 players who can call GOAT and no one will question it. Other two are Bonds and Mays.
So why isn't Wilt still considered a GOAT?

Lebron being better than an entire franchise is insane

If everyone was in their prime which team is better?
1999 Rockets:
Cuttino Mobley, Michael Dickerson, Scottie Pippen, Charles Barkley, Hakeem Olajuwon
2013 Lakers:
Steve Nash, Kobe Bryant, Metta World Peace, Pau Gasol, Dwight Howard

Jokic is the best European player of all time - Bleacher report. Can Luka catch him??
I think we all agree with this. The real question is can Luka catch him?
Doubt Luka gets as many MVP’s. The lakers aren’t set to contend until Lebron retires which could be 1 or 2 more years. Luka is 27 in February. By the time Lebron leaves he could be 29 with no ring or MVP’s.
Thoughts?

The Mavericks are acting like Luka traded them. Loser franchise

Ty Lue: “Jordan would average 45 in today’s NBA”
It’s crazy how good Jordan was despite playing in a physical era with no 3’s. Undisputed goat.

The Westbrook hate is getting out of hand
I can't believe this is how fans treat Westbrook now. People act like he was never good, that he wasn't part of playoffs success of OKC in 2012-2016, that he pad his rebounds. Russ is only guy I know who gets criticize for getting uncontested rebounds, people act like he's not rebounding demon when he's already averaging almost 10 rebounds before his MVP season. You can criticize Russ game all you want but to rewrite his career to support your agenda is diabolical.

Who Should Rank Higher All Time As A Point Guard. Magic Johnson Or Steph Curry?

Same Draft Class. You Desperately Need a Guard AND a Center… Do You Take Luka or Wemby First?
r/NBATalk • u/Thatredditboy1 • 9h ago
At this point, how hopeful are you that Russ will find a team?

What’s the next “3s are worth more than 2s” realization that will change the league
What idea, in retrospect, will look obvious.
Example - hard close outs that have no shot at disrupting the shot aren’t nearly as costly as getting your defense stuck in rotations and close outs. A slightly less hard close out that allows the defender to stay in front of penetration only increases shooting percentage by a small margin, vs the increased success likelihood of the offensive possession by allowing a blow by.
Inspired to write this because of the ceaseless “all time” posts that have replaced BBall chat.

The 1995 Rockets Title is Completely Absurd
1: Went up against literally the 4 best records in the NBA: 62 win Spurs, 60 win Jazz, 59 win Suns, 57 win Magic. Basically average opponent was a 60 win team. This is the highest sustained opponent difficulty ever.
2: Did not have home court in any round as the sixth seed and won a record 9 games on the road.
3: Won back to back winner-take-all games on the road against the Jazz and then the Suns. In fact won two elimination games on the road against the Suns down 3-1 in an OT game 5 followed by game 7.
4: Went up 2-0 on the road against the number 1 overall seed Spurs in the conference finals, and proceeded to win every game in Texas.
5: Swept the finals against the 1 seed in the east Magic that beat Jordan (sort of).
I know we talk about best solo star ring, but this is up there with best team championship ever.

This may be a weird comparison but I feel like Steph’s legacy is similar to Jerry Rice’s legacy
Besides the Bay Area connection and the four rings, I also feel like they are both offensive weapons that it’s impossible to overstate how impactful they are, but aren’t really in the goat conversation.
