That purple line on the screen usually means the display panel itself has been damaged either from pressure or a drop or sometimes from internal failure of the oled or lcd. It is not something that can be fixed with software. The possible solution is a screen replacement since the line will not go away on its own. In Kathmandu a phone repair shop that handles screen replacements should be able to fix it but it will depend on the phone model and part availability.
