This question has been bothering me for 1 month.

What is the importance of a bachelor's course where I can complete a bachelor s-level course from home without spending money on a bachelor's degree in Nepal?

Annapurna Base Camp: South Vs North

Hey

I am planning to head to Nepal to the ABC trek. Had initial planned the South route however lately I have been reading a bit about the North route as well.

South- traditional tea house stays, minimum 6-7 days North- camping style, no tea houses, minimum 4 days

Has anyone here completed the North route and can give some information on it? And suggest based on your experience.

Thanks

Thinking of taking a 2 week trip to Nepal in December. Looking for advice

Hi all,

I am heavily considering a 2 week trip to Nepal from Dec 8 - Dec 22. I love culture, markets (like the sooks of Morocco or Turkey), beautiful nature, hiking, and food. I am looking to know whether this is do-able and if so, what would you recommend? I was considering 1 week being culture focused and 1 week on a trek (Annapurna Circuit is difficult in the winter I have heard?).

Thanks!

Question/प्रश्न what’s the going market prices for 3F or 3 story houses in valley within ~10km from ringroad?

tried to look at the hamrobazar listings but feels like most are ads posted by real estate agents with inflated price. Would be better if HB admins ban those accounts for good!

Need help: PU scholarship docs but OJT not finished

Hi, I gave the Pokhara University scholarship exam. They’re asking for my class 12 marksheet and character certificate, but my NEB technical (Computer Engineering) OJT is still going on, so I don’t have the official marksheet yet.

Can i sumbit provisional marksheet or letter from college instead? Will PU accept that? Any advice would really help.

I feel like there is something wrong in this pic.we were taught since childhood that royals were patriotic, they wouldn't compromise at any cost on the matter of national border or sovereignty, they weren't so-called spineless "lampasaarbadi" like there mainstream political counterparts.was it a grave lie?😭😭 Source: twitter handle of professor SD muni

Politics/राजनीति Our mayor balen sah and his stance on border dispute?

Why is balen sah silent on current lipulekh limpiyadhura border dispute. balen Sah like he has been usually doing, needs to stand up on matters of national interests via writing a Facebook status mentioning Narendra modi to draw his attention on diplomatic resolution of border dispute between two friendly neighbouring countries ASAP

Do you guys believe in Aryan-invasion/migration/picnic theory

So those who don't know about it, let me summarize the major points for you apparently the Christian linguist named Thomas Muller came up with this conclusion during the colonization of India that there's a proto-Indo-European language primarily because significant number of Sanskrit words sounded similar to Greek words and they were from Europe and they invaded the Indian sub-continent and imposed their heinous language sanskrit upon the native of this land. The nazi historians believed in this concept and thought aryans are the most superior race and thus killed Jews as most Jews supported communism and were barely related to Aryans.
But now the theory has become quite irrelevant because like initially it was aryan invasion myth which later turned into aryan-picnic migration and said in the same way how the Indonesians acquired the Islam as a religion in the very same way it happened.
Common counters to this Aryan invasion/migration from Right-wing historians, is that the rigveda is native to this land and the britishers force fitted the biblical timeline into the ancient vedas which are much older considering research shows Dwarka city is at least 5k years old, and an Indian historian has even given a reverse theory that migration happened from Indian sub-continent to Europe because they've been shifting their arguments consistently as initially it was from Europe to Indian sub-continent and then it came to Southern Russia/Moscow to the Sub-contient and then its now in Armenia-Azerbaizan region then they moved to central Asia in present day of Tajakistan. Another counter that a historian presented was the ice age and graphing which supports his theory.
And the counter to the right-wing historians is that leftt-wing historians say the script of Indus valley is no way similar to Sanskrit, while Right-wing argue that Tamil vocabulary has got many sanskrit words and few sanskrit words look similar to tamil words, so it might be the different way of writing which caused this difference.
Another valid argument that Right-wingers present is that the Rigveda is native to this land, even science has confirmed the presence of Saraswati River, so its the other way. And the devanagari scipt and tamil both have some linkage to Brahmi script so it is possible that from Indus Valley the Brahmi evolved which gave birth to Tamil and Sanskrit after all its said that Sanskrit and Tamil are the two sides of the Damrau of Bhagwan shiva.
Rightwing also argues that its just a tactic of conversion to Christianity as the Tamil-nadu of India has got increasing Christian population which hates hinduism all on the soul of aryan invasion/migration theory.
A detailed debate between right-wing and left-wing regarding Aryan-invasion/migration. If you want to understand in detail

Let me know what do you think?

Question/प्रश्न what is the meaning of 'Sapeksha'?

I saw articles published under the name 'Sapeksha' in some media outlets. This person writes stories, poems, and feature stories. I noticed them writing about art, literature, entertainment, and technology. In technology, they wrote about education and new startups. I also saw his name in some analytical videos of Binayak Kuikel's 'Why So Offended?'.

The name sounds really nice. but, What does it actually mean? Any idea guys?
