Streaks on Screen

Post image

What are we thinking here? Just installed, 3.76V battery, bought “new” off facebook. Bad wire? Hardware failure?

But advertised as "new" there should be an option to get money back.

It's FB Marketplace, a glorified flea market. Good luck.

Does it affect performance of the unit? Idc about aesthetics.

No, but that screen itself is toast. My guess is it got hit in shipping. The real issue is it may deteriorate with time. what will you do if the screen turns black entirely? Guess what temp you're setting it to? Use the app? What if you need to reset it or something?

"Purchases made through third-party sites, local pickups, Messenger transactions, or through other messaging services don't qualify for Purchase Protection."

OP is likely fucked.

This happened to a Nest Home display of our and it just kept getting worse and worse. Started with the ghosting then nearly the full screen was streaked and you couldn't see anything.

No idea what caused it
