Generic install question

Pic 1 is old thermostat, pic 2 is the Nest 4th Gen.

I don't know much about HVAC, and I see conflicting information wherever I look.

I think it's: G -> G C -> C R -> Rh/Rc jumped W1 -> W1 Y -> Y1/Y2 jumped W2 -> W2 O -> OB

There are no jumpers on the old thermostat.

Most articles say no need to use a jumper on the Nest I know, but I'm not sure here.

You can connect the wires to the nest thermostat the way it is on the old thermostat. the nest thermostat has a built in jumper so you won't need to add one. On the nest you can connect the "R" wire to either RC or RH it doesn't matter.

No need for jumpers, r to rc. Y to y1. O to o/b Everything else is straight forward.
