This isn’t a range. This is telling you it’s trying to get to 72 and stuck on 79. I assume you live in the south and are 100 degrees.

It causes hvacs to not be able to catch up until overnight HOWEVER, it should only be like 75 ish at the most. Your hvac needs servicing.

That not how it work. Your temp in your house is at 79 F. Its currently cooling to 72. When the back color is Blue it means it currently cooling. If its orange its heating

Thank you all! I emailed the condo board about having someone come look at my HVAC

Call a HVAC guy cause your air conditioner isn’t working.

Feel your vents. Is the air coming out from them cold? Because otherwise your A/C needs service.

79 is the current temperature in the room, 72 is the set temperature it is trying to cool the room to

Coil unit filter may be plugged and not letting air through very well.

When was the last time you had your AC serviced? It can’t keep up with demand being placed on it.

63% humidity is elevated.

It's tough in the south to get humidity down....

I live in South FL and my humidity is 49-51%.

How old of a house? There are a lot of variables. Example my house hovers at 60 degrees in VA. It's 102 years old and when I run the bathroom fan and take a shower it spikes to 74 percent.

But the south has a lot of humidity. Not sure where this guy lives but if it's in the south and an older building it might not be as air tight as a newer home or one that has a vapor barrier.

Get a dehumidifier....might help that 78-79 feel cooler

...at the cost of making it much hotter. This is a bad idea.

Not a humidifier.... A dehumidifier.

No one said a humidifier. A dehumidifier would make it much hotter, that's how they work.

Thats not a range. The 79 is your indoor temperature.

Dang, it’s humid! I live in FL and sometimes see it hover at 55%. That’s when I bust out the dehumidifier. My crappy single pane windows don’t help. Lennar homes sucks for cheaping out. One day I’ll upgrade my windows.

Just did r-38 insulation and radiant barrier and has helped with ac feeling cooler.

I think you have to use the lock feature

I found the lock feature in my research before I posted. I have it "locked" at 67-72 but it didn't seem to change anything

Too hot and humid during the day to reach an unrealistic 72 lol
