[Discussion] Thoughts on ‘Person of Interest’?

I have heard good reviews and the IMDB rating is also pretty solid. But I can’t seem to understand why exactly the two main leads Reese and Finch are going into this effort to save random people? Where they are getting all the money from for all the guns, travel, and whatnot? Been through the pilot but unable to get past these questions. Am I missing something here?

Why would you choose to drop this question on r/NetflixBestOf? I’m curious if PoI is on Netflix in other countries; it’s only on Prime in the US.

As others have said, all of the answer to all of these question unfold over time, either through present action or flashbacks from the machine.

I think one of the best things about this show is that it didn’t insult the viewer’s intelligence. It was truly a puzzle and the pieces were there. Sometimes a puzzle piece from season one didn’t fall into place until season three, but we could still follow along with the story. It was just so mind blowing when it finally fell into place.

I think it used to be on Netflix sometimes ago but not now. I dropped the question here because its my go-to community for such discussions. :)

Do you feel your question was answered, or are you still wondering.

The people that love this show are rather passionate about it, but there are people that just never got into it.

Lol, there was a guy at the pool where I used to swim who said: oh yeah, my parents like that show. I really don’t care for it.

So that happened.

Aha… I’ll be resuming the show for at least 2-3 episodes and then decide whether it’s interesting or not. The comments here are encouraging enough to resume watching. 🙂
