[Discussion] Thoughts on ‘Person of Interest’?

I have heard good reviews and the IMDB rating is also pretty solid. But I can’t seem to understand why exactly the two main leads Reese and Finch are going into this effort to save random people? Where they are getting all the money from for all the guns, travel, and whatnot? Been through the pilot but unable to get past these questions. Am I missing something here?

It's very good. Good enough I can overlook what a piece of shit Jim Caviezel is and recommend it.

The last season is very compressed because they were trying to squeeze 2 seasons worth of plot in, but, still, worth a watch all the way through.

That's just the tip of the iceberg. I'm not gonna spend all morning googling links but, he also manhandled the stunt crew during POI fight scenes (like, actually hitting them instead of acting, which was, you know, his job), refused to do scenes where he was supposed to rescue a gay couple (IIRC, the director finally told him, "look if you were a firefighter, you wouldn't care if the couple in a burning building was gay", and Caviezel spent the rest of the shoot comparing himself to a firefighter), and there's more but honestly I'm tired of talking about him.

But, I mean, just telling people that Trump is actually America's Moses and that kids were being kidnapped to have their adrenal glands harvested by drugs should be enough.

Interesting bc my brother in law & his immediate fam speak very highly pf him. That he's a devout Catholic, all around good person. Jim C helped my brother in laws sister adopt a child from Guatemala bc there was a problem with the adoption. I forgot how my bro in laws fam know jim c. Thanks for answering my question. Take care
