[Request] Suggest some light, feel good series
I am done rewatching Friends, TBBT, Modern Family, Gilmore Girls, and other popular shows.
I am planning to watch one episode a day, so want something with many seasons (Not Grey's Anatomy)
Please suggest some light comedy, feel good series to watch. Better if British. I love their comedy.

Definitely Derry Girls. It is not what you might expect, and is exceptionally well-written.

Doh! I just searched for Mum and Reba!

They are both hilarious. Believe it or not, Reba ( the older series not the new one) is so underrated. I think it is the funniest.

Re posting this as I light feel good is my Jam
Can I suggest that you need to watch something that's slow , languid and slice of life ?
I found K Dramas very good as it helps me engage with these characters, slowly. Most of the stories take time to establish the premise. They also then take you on a journey along with the characters.
Here are some low key , fun series
Hometown Cha Cha Cha - Simple premise. A dentist makes a gaffe in a city and ends up moving to the countryside. Found family, beautiful location and you will want to live with these folks .. on the way you will solve the 3 mysteries of Gongjin 😁
Twinkling Watermelon -a heartwarming time travel story that just explodes with love warmth and caring. Yes you will find the story very familiar . But the heart of this story will make you care for the characters.
Business Proposal - based on a Webtoon a woman helps her friend out on a Blind Date and absolute chaos ensues in her life when the blind date turns out to be her CEO ! Lean into the slapstick comedy of this Drama and its simply fantastic!
Doc Martin - a beautiful british series based in Cornwall about an extremely skilled Surgeon moving to the countryside and his fun weird patients ... Very found family trope .. it will grow on you 😁
The Good Witch - Just a sweet hallmark channel series about the new doctor and the resident healer. Is she magic ✨? Isn't she ? Either way a wonderful cast and you will love to spend time with them... Good daytime television
Because This is my first life - A K Drama about a down on her luck writer desperate to find a place to live through a series of events end up being room mates with a guy ,Low Key hilarious and absolutely heart warming. They both learn to heal through each other , learn surprising fun things about love... Supported by an excellent funny and fun cast ...
Enjoy the journey and hope you feel better soon

Hey thank you so much for your detailed answer. I am not too fond of KDrama. I find the plot and dialogues too patriarchal. Plus the portrayal of young women as clueless men chasing creatures just makes me furious.

Haha, and Kdrama raise some bars here how we see dating, how a man should treat the women. How women should looks like. It’s so dreamy yet in a realistic maybe only 0.001% someone would have relationship just like the Kdrama

The Detectorists. British show about two best friends who use metal detectors not to find treasure because it’s valuable but because they are interested in history and archaeology. It’s essentially a buddy show — and their friendship is very sweet. It’s also really, really amusing.

For sure, Golden Girls. It holds up! They are hilarious. And a ton of episodes.
Fisk is also really funny and an easy watch, but only 2 seasons so far. Third one coming soon I think.
If you can handle a little raunchy, Kath & Kim (the original version).
Kim’s Convenience is also very funny.

Gossip girl

People betrayed each other , cheated each other over and over again. Too much drama. I don’t like it. The plot seems like swirling around the same theme, betraying , cheating, lying, forgiving and then it return to same pattern over and over again.

Fleabag
Crashing.

I tried watching Crashing. The interaction between those two childhood friends in the first episode was so cringe. Does it get better?

Some scenes are meant to be cringey, but in a good way. It might not be your thing.

It isn't comedy but Heartland is "feel good" TV and has many seasons. In fact, this is Season 18.

Man Down with Greg Davies is ludicrous and very funny - especially first season with the late Rik Mayall (RIP)
