[Request] Sick with a sick baby next to me. Help this mama survive the night
Looking for recommendations for light, uplifting entertaining. Movies, series I don’t care.
Think the most light hearted rom com (I’ve seen them all!) or low stakes drama.
Just need to get through the night 🙏

I thoroughly enjoyed Nobody Wants This on Netflix. Funny as heck, wacky and lovable characters.

If you’re able to manage subtitles in your situation, Welcome to Waikiki. The first half of season one is hilarious in a very light way. The second half I found a little less funny, but instead it moved into sweet-hearted rom-com territory. And there’s a baby! (Hope your little one feels better soon.)

I just finished Leanne. Its an easy watch, i enjoyed it. In real life, that woman probably wouldn't like me because I am a heathen who cuses like a drunken sailor lol

If you like mysteries, all of the Inspector Maigret books are pretty short. Georges Simenon wrote a ton of them. Be careful, though: they were originally written in French, and the English translations were sometimes reissued with different titles than the originals.

You might enjoy Clark. It’s a Swedish limited series starring Bill Skarsgård as Clark Olofsson, the notorious bank robber whose famous 1973 heist gave rise to the term Stockholm Syndrome. It’s tongue in cheek and highly entertaining. Hope your little one feels better soon.

Feel better! I love The Good Place—and Christmas in Connecticut for an old-school Christmas movie.
