Best steak in the toon? (or surrounding area?)
It's my 50th coming up, and I'm going out to dinner with my Mah and sister. Where does the best steak?
It's a bit of a treat for me so it's important it's a belta. I don't need to eat huge amounts but it's really important that's it's nice but I don't eat stuff like steak very often and you're only 50 once.
Edit: I can't thank you all. So thank you again to those I have and thank you to everyone else in advance

I didn't know this and was considering driving out there for a meal. Thanks for saving me a journey!

Broad Chare and St Vincent always have a great steak for two on the blackboard.
Not cheap mind, but as good as you are going to get.

Porterhouse Butcher & Grill inside the Fenwick's food hall. If you all enjoy a fillet steak I'd recommend getting a chateaubriand to share.

Porterhouse is the best steak in Newcastle. Avoid all of the chains, Rio, bar and block miller & carter etc. They’re all bang average to poor.

Wouldn’t recommend it, it’s overpriced and they use frozen chips which is a criminal in a steak house imo.

There’s a place called the rat up at Anick beside Hexham. They do beef ribs to share that are honestly fantastic
