I'm on PC btw. Whenever I open the familiar retreat the game breaks and I can't move or interact with anything. I can only move the camera. Eventually it fixes itself if I tab out. This only started recently as well.

Since it's heavily implied that Shadar is the cause for the majority of broken hearts, I find it funny that he has a particular grudge against this one random couple and keeps stealing pieces of their heart throughout the game

I started about a week ago and I'm enjoying it. Was a little upset when I was forced into evolving my guy after the trials and then went on a catching spree and got all the currently available mons and started leveling the ones I liked. Got them to learn their last moves and evolved them then leveled them again to at least level 15. Heading to castaway cove to get a boat now. Was the grind worth it? Also is there a shop at the next town with new equipment? Waiting to buy armor and weapons for my new guys until then.

Hey! so I really want the give heart symbol as my first tattoo but I was talking to a friend and they said to search just to make sure the symbol didn't mean anything else. I don't think it would as it's a symbol from the game but does anyone know if the give heart symbol can mean anything else or if it could be mistaken for another symbol?

It interested me enough to play it before touching the first game, the silly opening of the plot, the real time combat being different from my usual favouring of turn based combat, city management system etc.

There are some things that bother me though, skirmishes can be annoying especially when the game suggests you are high enough level to do it and you get your shit rinsed, or your guys just don't fight the enemy you want them to. The Stellar Jelly's attacks always knock you down also annoy me. Also by the time I got to Chapter 6 I started skipping cutscenes cause the story wasn't engaging me anymore, it got very formulaic and predictable. I wish Roland was the protagonist, not Evan.

It's so hard to tame familiars even by weakening them. Is there any SURE way to do it succesfully?

What do I do? The growth limit is stuck at 30 and I've been doing nothing but feeding. I'm making sure Esther is using her as her primary familiar but it still isn't going up. Am I doing something wrong?

So I figured I try to max my Mite's familiarity before ever evolving, but one mistake I guess I ran into was progressing further in to the story. It made me metamorph my mite early with no choice at all. I was a little bit sad as I had only gotten this far into his familiarity and levels. I'm bummed he won't ever get to learn Heat Ray as I was planning.

If my character has two Stalwarts and my familiar also has one Stalwart equipped, does that stack triple? Or is defense only inherited?

I read somewhere that for absolute BEST stats on your familiars, you absolutely must have max familiarity along with all 50 allocation points filled to the max, max level capped all before metamorphing. I'm not sure if this is true or not, but do you have to have max familiarity and max allocation before metamorphing? Or can allocations and familiarity be sought even after metamorphing? Please respond.. I stopped a 30 hour playthrough because I was allocating my points randomly and I felt bad. I'm on a new playthrough and I'm making sure to catch all familiars like pokemon. In my head, I'm thinking that it's better to max stats and familiarity of one familiar and metamorph them naturally to the next form to get higher stats rather than taming a familiar in their next form. What's REALLY the go to plan :( Help pleaseeee.

I had been grinding out the lumber wood encounter for a few hours with really no luck, then yesterday I tamed TWO of them in the same fight.

Wild luck on that. Now I just want to know whether I should put both on Esther, or spread them across different party members (Esther/Oliver, Esther/Swaine, etc). Thoughts?

So I already opened up the labyrinth AND completed quest 147 and I still can’t get the quest to recruit tyran. Also, the version of the game I have on Xbox has the DLC attached to it so it can’t be removed. I’m on chapter 9 and haven’t completed the game yet. Is there just no way for me to recruit Tyran?

I never got around to finishing the game on PS4 years ago, and wanted to try the game again on my PS5. Game was running just fine, no hiccups, nothing, until Chapter 3 after meeting Niall for the first time.

Since then, Leafbook causes a total freeze, crash, and option to send an error report. That’s it, just opening Leafbook, without fail, every time.

Any solutions? I’ve uninstalled and will try again with a fresh install. Worst case scenario I’ll just play it on my old PS4

New Player here. I just got the boat and I'm getting my a*s kicked, so I thought I level a bit an evolve my members. But I cant find any moon and especially star drops. Any tipps which enemy I should tackle to get a few?
