What are your secret weapons in the Great Dog Hair War?
I've got a 2-year-old Golden Retriever, and honestly, I think he's secretly shedding enough to knit a whole new dog every week. I'm waging a daily war against the fluff, but I'm losing BADLY.
What are your secret weapons in the Great Dog Hair War? Do you swear by a particular brush, lint roller from the depths of Amazon, a robot vacuum that's earned its keep, or some other magical technique I haven't discovered yet? Help a fluff-covered friend(and his black clothes) out!

Shetland Sheepdog owner here, the struggle is REAL. my robovac eufy e28 fights them all day long. Its duospiral brush really gets the deep-down dog hair out of the carpets, and the portable cleaner is perfect for hitting furniture and those hard-to-reach spots. Honestly, it's cut down on the fur madness significantly. It won't solve everything but I do feel better after.

I know cat and dog hairs are somewhat different but I decided to comment since the problems I'm also waging a similar war, even though my cat is a Norwegian Forest Cat I haven't looked at this as an especially Nordic issue though :)
My main weapon up until today has been the Dyson V15, especially the Digital Motorbar cleaner head (for floors) and the Hair Screw Tool (for soft furniture). Until I got that vacuum my vacuums would fair well for about 4 months and then after a year I would be forced to buy a new one. This one has lasted 5 years and is still in great shape. I can also see now that they have a pet grooming kit, which might be worth investigating for a dog.
A Furminator brush is by far the best brush I've ever tried, sadly I my cat was fairly traumatised when I got her and she was a few years old and wasn't raised with getting used to a brush so she only allows on average about 5 brushes a day before she wields her paw knifes. But I still get a lot of hair with just these few brushes.
Other than that I get her bathed and brushed around twice a year, I would do it 6x a year if she didn't go into a panic each time (which is partly what makes her manageable to the groomer).
Even though the Dyson works great it's still a lot of frequent vacuuming so I also got a Roborock Saros 10, literally today, and I can't wait to try that out. It's supposed to be very good with hair and from the videos I've seen of how the technology works I have high hopes. The price is fairly steep though.

You will win battles with this one, but the war never ends. You need a rubber bristle broom. You will get hair from places you thought none existed.
