Paddled both back in 2020. Wonderful lakes for canoeing.

Might have to go back and try that. We were on our way to Fyresdal, and decided to stop, and it was so peaceful, despite being like 20m from the road. Could have sat there all morning.

Since most tourists post dramatic mountain images from Vestlandet or Northern Norway, I thought I'd share the serenity of a roadside rest stop in the middle of "nowhere" from a road trip last year.

Since I wasn't exactly on a photo journey, this is taken with an iPhone 14 Pro camera.

Photo taken early October.

Toke the lake or Toke the "kommune"?

The municipality is spelled with two k's: "Tokke".

This is the lake "Øvre Toke" (Upper Toke). There is also a "Nedre Toke" (Lower Toke)
