I wonder whether this “supply” refers to delivering old vessels, or actually new builds in UK.

It's the Type 26, there are no old vessels. I believe HMS Glasgow and HMS Cardiff, the first two T26 frigates, are still undergoing outfitting. So they will all be new builds.

I believe what would have been HMS Belfast is going to be given to you guys, then we'll alternate.

It’s common sense that a tiny nation doesn’t need to pay 100 billion for a few ships. In a conflict they will be sunk on the first day anyway
