A staple of mine. Haven't been to the potsticker/dumpling spot in the old B-Dama location, but the "main one" on Washington is excellent and they're lovely people. Do stick to the same few items so can't speak to the entire menu.

What do you order there? Tried Huangcheng once and didn’t like it very much. Was expecting more Shandong style noodles tho

They're not Shandong style and don't advertise themselves as such... They serve Shanxi style food. Not all Northern Chinese food is the same. The restaurant's Chinese name is 山西刀削面 which literally means Shanxi knife cut noodles.

Fosho. I wasn’t saying all Chinese food is the same. I’ve just seen the noodles called hand pulled, like even in this article. that’s why I expected sort of similar texture.

Didn’t know about the dumpling location. Huangcheng Noodlehouse has been a go-to

This is a pet peeve of mine but I hate how one of the image captions calls these "hand pulled" noodles. They are knife cut noodles. Not the same.
