What's better than one dog looking at a sunset? Two dogs looking at it!

Wow how do you do the fur?? 😁 It’s so difficult! Do you start with a dark base color and then do lighter colors on top?

Thank you! πŸ₯°

I work in layers with different brands of oil pastels. I alternate between going light over dark and vice versa as needed. Try using Pastelmat to start with. Emma Colbert has good tutorials to help you start.

Which brands do you find most compatible with each other/offer you the most flexibility? I'm very curious about your experience ☺️

Sakura Specialist, Erengi Art Aspirers, Holbein and then Sennelier are what I use. I might add Mungyo, but I really don't like those that much. The softness does aid in layering if you want an option, but they don't seem that...oily. Can muddy up colors too in my experience. Many do love and use them.

The atmosphere is very nice and the collars are the cutest.

Thank you so much! I changed the collar on the Shih Tzu upon the client's request to match their favorite one. I'm overjoyed that it works well. πŸ’
