A car drove off a ledge on the unpaved road to cascade trailhead around 7pm tonight. I imagine quite a few people got stuck waiting to leave for a long time because an tow truck, ambulance, and tech rescue truck were there, and it’s a narrow road

I drove past a tow truck starting to go up, I had similar thoughts about timing and getting stuck, hope everyone was ok!

2nd pic Southern Pickets, right to left - McMillan Spires (east, west), Inspiration Peak, Pyramid peak, Degenhardt peak, Mt Terror. That's all I remember :)

What’s with the pickets getting so much attention lately. It’s blowing up all over social media. People just discover it?

A local photographer Ross James Wallette recently died in a fall on Mt Fury and that was on the local news. People probably heard about it from there? Dunno

I have a pic of that exact view of the Pickets somewhere. From TrPpers peak I think someone else said here. It’s one of the best

Nope - you wouldn’t have that view of the southern pickets from glacier peak
