Help! Best, closest to downtown seattle?

Friends in town and want a last minute, shortish hike. And we don’t have much time including driving. Any suggestions appreciated!

I want to show them what we have but they can’t commit to the entire day, unfortunately.

Rattlesnake ledge trail, and then to Snoqualmie falls.

Normally this, but views are limited because of smoke. Go to Alki and walk up Schmidt Park to the Junction

Squak, Tiger, Cougar. 25 -30 min ride from the city just on the other side of Lake Washington. If you want really short and not really a hike, bring them to the botanical garden up by the UW campus in U District.

The old trail.. And they’ll never make you take them hiking again ;)

If you're ok with driving an hour max going east of Seattle, theres the i-90 corrider that consists plenty of hikes. A few that i can think off the top of my head that are pretty good hikes in that area are: Bandera Mountain, Mount Defiance, Granite Mountain, Mount Baldy, Mount Teneriffe (via kamikaze trail), and much more.

This is good list. They may be an extra 15-30 minutes from what you’d like, but the amount of people drops dramatically and it’s more peaceful

The Queen Anne Stair Loop. You can pick a portion of it since you don’t have all day.

Define the total amount of time you have.

Another close by place that's pretty nice is Saint Edward State Park.
