An old gameplay trailer showed a puddle on the floor. A new trailer showed the puddle was smaller. Some people said Insomniac was downgrading the game just like Watch Dogs and want their heads on spikes.

EDIT: Even if they had to make graphical concessions in order to improve performance/gameplay I think it's funny how many people are vehemently upset by this.

Saw some gameplay from the Canadian Expo thats this weekend and a puddle that looks just as nice was in the game just not the same location.

rather play a game from devs who are smart enough to optimize their game and not be beholden to something they showed at an obvious fluff showcase like E3.

Yeah that’s just how it is at E3. There’s no way some of those parts in the Last of Us 2 gameplay were real either.

The same exact thing was said about Uncharted 4 yet the game overall looked better when it was released. TLOU 2 will look and be amazing.

I think some things looked worse and some things better for Uncharted 4. But that being said they didn't really downgrade they just changed things a bit.

Yeah but that reloading animation when she’s under the car? It just seems scripted, I doubt it will play exactly like that

They had the same section of the game behind closed doors at E3. Many people got to see someone play it first hand, Easy Allies did a video on it too. Everything in that gameplay is currently in the game, but some of it will have to be removed or downgraded by release.
