He's not making fun of it, he's voicing how ridiculous it is that people freak out over such little things.

And BioWare are not in any position to poke fun at anybody after their abomination. After they abandoned updates on the game, they showed the world they're not competent to fix a problem. So why should they be able to ridicule anybody? (Even though I agree that the people freaking out about the puddle should be made fun of.)

I know, I know, "BioWare Montreal isn't related to the Anthem team". If one division in EA has a shitty game, the entire company suffers. Why? Because they still represent the entire company. It's a pretty simple concept to understand.

"Bioware made an unpopular game, so they can't ever criticise games"

"BioWare made an unpopular game"

Kindest words anybody's ever used to summarize Andromeda.

I liked it.

Either way, I don't see how that refuted my point. By that logic, surely you can't criticise games unless you make them.

No. Bioware did the same thing they’re accusing them of. They hyped up Andromeda, and it was awful. The physics were bad. The voice acting was bad. The graphics were severely lackluster. The character creation was an abomination. It’s hypocrisy. Not the fact that they made a bad game so they can’t criticize games.

Hypocrites can be right.

Sure. That’s not the point. The point is the hypocrisy.

That is exactly the point. You're saying "they're hypocritical so they shouldn't say this". I'm saying "hypocrisy doesn't mean they shouldn't say it".
