Out of the loop, what happened?

This what people are up in arms about. There is a very obvious difference between the two photos regardless of the puddles.

This image also came out showing there was less detail in some animations than previously showed, again there is a pretty obvious difference between the two.

Insomniac and it's employees have stated there was no downgrade and that it was just a lighting change and a removal of a puddle.

If they just came out and said they had to make changes to optimize performance, nobody would care. But like... Don't lie about it. We know console games almost never look like their e3 showings (which are usually shown on $1200 gaming pcs)

It's not even $12K PCs, these developers have top tier hardware...but the thing is that we know what E3 is. It's where developers show their game in the perfect setting and they want people to be excited for the game (especially if it's a new IP). I don't get why this is still an issue. We all know that the game (for the most part) will look close to what they show so why make it an issue. Gamers just love to point out the negative. It's amazing how many posts of this have been uploaded here, just negative press about the game, but we as gamers are attracted to that. We can't speak about the positive, the negative creates drama and brings the clicks.

Would you rather people just bleeted about positive things? Because knowing about bad things is more important than knowing about good things.

I simply said that gamers are addicted to the negative. Negative news travels faster than positive news. In plus, this isn't even news. Are we going to do side by side comparison photos of every game now, even though we know the final release won't reach the E3 showing? That's what I'm saying. The Cyberpunk 2077 release is gonna be nuts, so is RDR, Anthem, DMC5...this is gonna get to the point of being nonsensical.

Gamers are the most negative people I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with either in real life or online.

You're probably just attracting your own sort of cynicism and poor attitude. It's called 'law of attraction'

Yeah it’s clearly my fault that the top posts on /r/Gaming are almost all hyper-negative circlejerking over some trivial shit nobody in their right minds would actually choose to care about. How dare I force the gaming population of reddit to circlejerk over how evil EA is ad nauseam.

You can bitch to me about it or you can unsubscribe, and sadly for you we aren't accepting new patients at the moment so don't let the door hit you on the way out if youre so sick of the content.

So first you were like “You’re the one with the problem. Gamers aren’t negative!” And now you’re like “If you don’t like how negative we gamers are, get the fuck OUT of here!” Like, god forbid I just want to check and see if there’s a fucking Steam sale going on without getting inundated with a torrential downpour of needless negativity and petulant whining. Thank god this sub seems to stay relatively sane by comparison to /r/Gaming. I can’t imagine what it would be like listening to people bitch and moan about the size of Kratos’s fucking belly button or some shit.

You seem to have some intellectual issues.

1) It's a sign of stupidity to frequent a sub you want to constantly criticize. My advice was sound, If you are sick of it remove it from your life

2) if you wanna check steam sales I hear going straight to the program can be just as fast ;)
