This what people are up in arms about. There is a very obvious difference between the two photos regardless of the puddles.

This image also came out showing there was less detail in some animations than previously showed, again there is a pretty obvious difference between the two.

Insomniac and it's employees have stated there was no downgrade and that it was just a lighting change and a removal of a puddle.

If they just came out and said they had to make changes to optimize performance, nobody would care. But like... Don't lie about it. We know console games almost never look like their e3 showings (which are usually shown on $1200 gaming pcs)

The only people that care for shit like this are XBox fanboys anyway. And Sony exclusives have 90% looked the same or even better than their earlier trailers.

So I pointed out that the devs are lying about trivial stuff and your response is "doesn't matter unless ur an xbox fanboy"? Don't know why people can't just call out bad dev decisions as they see them. I'm getting Spiderman next week regardless, but I'm allowed to think console devs lying about their game at e3 isn't cool.

They aren’t lying and if you had looked at all the comparison footage you’d know that.
