I don't care about graphics being downgraded. The game still looks great. Graphic controversy were always stupid. But the one thing I hate is the developers lying saying the graphics are not downgraded. That is straight lying it is very clear that the graphics have indeed been downgraded. The downgrade isn't a problem by itself, but lying to your consumers about it is a problem

Same boat here, even if Insomniac came out when the game went gold and said "we won't be able to hit the quality that was in the E3 trailer, heres how it looks now. We apologize if you're disappointed, you can cancel your pre-order. But if you don't we promise the game is still going to look great and be a banger!"

Saying that would have snuffed out almost all of this. But instead now we have this little tempest in a teapot because a developer and publisher would rather have it trickle out right before release instead of having the stones or the forethought to address it before it blows up.
