I'd just buy another from ali. It's just a few screws. And you can change the battery or do the vita battery mod while you're in there.

If you have a 3D printer or know someone with a 3D printer you could use this.

It looks piss yellow in person trust me it doesn't look good. I'm in the same boat as OP but I don't care enough to use hydrogen peroxide

Even if you do successfully retrobrite or oxidize it out, it’ll just come back over time. If it bothers you, probably less trouble to replace the back casing entirely

Ok for the people asking to reshell this is a pearl white go, if OP intends to keep this specific colour they will have a hard time getting an aftermarket replacement of this specific variant It say just use the retrobright method Hydrogen peroxide in front of an UV light source for some hours, just like it was commented before.

The original strips are transparent - the yellowing you're seeing is not ageing of the strip - it's discolouration of the contact-adhesive underneath the strip - not the strip itself.
To clean them properly, you must remove the strips, then bathe/rub them in isopropyl and scrub the contact-adhesive from the bottom of the strip. Then you can re-glue them - beware, most contact glues are yellowish and acrylates will trash the plastic casing - so, my advice, it's better to buy some thin, double-sided adhesive-pads instead and cut them to shape using a craft-knife.... or just replace the strips with new replicas which come with everything in a pack - isopropyl-wipes, new rubber grips, adhesive-pads. The OG pads are better quality than 3rd -party replacements.

Not possible, they sell replacements on eBay/aliexpress but for the price you could just reshell it

hydrogen peroxide cream should work and some hours onto the sun/uv light. But if you can, take It out before doing that.
