I followed your guy’s advice and modded a new psp that I just got and hoollyyy. Never modded anything in my life and it was overwhelming at first but as soon as you get an idea of what you need to do, it’s a breeze and super easy to do.

Just downloaded all my child hood games and a bunch more to play so I’ll be spending all my free time playing on this thing. It’s crazy to see how far ahead of its time this thing was.

Hello. I need some advice guys. I have a PSP 3000 near mint condition (like, the only thing It doesn't have rn Is a battery) with also the OEM charger. I also have a PSP 1000, shell swapped. It's still really good but it has two problems: - Power goes off when PSP takes big bumps - the UMD disc reader is broken I was thinking: should I sell the 3000 to buy a PSVita 1000 with Its money to expand my game roaster or it isn't worth the value and I should keep the 3000 and search for an "economic" PsVita? For me it was Midnight Club LA Remix, and also Tomb Raider anniversary, both of these games look absolutely unreal on the PSP, crazy what this little handheld can accomplish.

So ive seen these have been becoming abit popular. I thought to myself i had one back in the day as a kid. I was 100% sure i threw it away... turns out i threw away the battery and the charger and the thing sat in a drawer for like 10+ years. It looks like a 2004 to me. date code 7c. Should i look out for what battery i buy or something so i dont accidentally damage it?

I saw this for sale on marketplace and I wasn’t able to figure out what it was on my own.

I got a broken Psp2000 for pretty cheap. I replaced the shell, analog module + jelly bar, and the mem stick with an adapter. I tried to reuse all the original parts I could, but a lot were missing/shattered. I lubricated the umd drive, and cleaned the screen up as best I could, but both still give me intermittent issues.(blotchy water-like damage looks like alcohol seeped inside or straight up water damage) (when playing umds I get rapid fire "do you want to close the game" pauses, home button definitely not stuck or anything like that) (the cheap $18 shell is, well cheap, thin plastic sloppy holes)so not perfect.

This thing is the best! I immediately updated to 6.61, and started enjoying all my games. I put some xxx movies on there, I got mp3's. Every psp game I can imagine I'll ever play, and still 50gb left. Can't believe how well it runs, and how crisp the display is. It blows the DS away (my closest reference). Happy to be on the team. Let's enjoy these while we can!

Every time I try to turn on my PSP, it goes to this screen and I have no way to insert the micro SD card into my PC. How can I get out of this situation? The previous owner had used a different cfw method and my SD card was different. When I tried to access the Infinity application, this appeared.

Hey everyone, im having an issue with my psp 2000 where these lines on the screen go away when I bend the unit in a certain way, they also make the UMD not work/ spin extremely slow and ask if I want to quit the game every 5 sec, unless I bend it which causes it to work flawlessly.

I have already taken it apart three times to clean the contacts of each cable and I have cleaned and lubed the UMD as I did a shell swap (This issue still existed before the swap).

I am open to soldering and I also have a heat gun which I am very familiar with. Any help as to a joint that might be cracked to cause the issue would be greatly appreciated 🙏 Thanksss

Done some cleaning today and come across this beauty, not selling on here but am keen to know a figure if anybody has an idea? Unboxed unfortunately but very good condition with minor case scratches barely noticeable fully working though. Almost seems a shame to be even considering it

PSP was stored in a box with my other ones, this one is modded and won’t turn on, no green light either. Orange light however still does turn on when plugged in, but ONLY if a battery is in it while plugged.

Tried all the holding button methods, taking out the battery (which won’t work because no lights are present when there’s no battery) and also taking out memory card.

So I have a 1001 model and I want to replace the face plate of it with a clear blue one as my original one is all scratched up and has a few noticeable cracks I also want to replace the buttons,battery cover, and the steel ring on the back. Where do you recommend getting these?

I have a 1004 with the sensor but I don't wanna install a custom OS. Has anyone made a separate app?

do basically like i have this memory card but its not working for the psp and its saying theres no memory card, like what do i do to be able to fix it? it has a memory stick pro duo adapter and the mini card inside it is a samsung 256 pro plus, im not sure if its because of the little mini card because im new to this psp stuff so please help me out a bit
