How difficult is it to get Tickets?

Hey guys

I‘m sicilian but born in Switzerland. I will come to Palermo with a swiss friend and we would love to see the game against Frosinone end of august. I‘ve seen that tickets for the game are released only some days before, right? How easy is it to get tickets? Is it usually full for games like this?

Thank you in advance.

  1. Tickets are usually released 5–6 days before the game.

  2. Tickets are sold online on the official website and at the stadium.

  3. The stadium has 33,000 seats for Palermo fans, and currently around 13,000 are reserved for season ticket holders. There's a lot of excitement this season, so it could be sold out.

Suggestions for tourists: The stadium is not in great condition (we’re waiting for a final agreement with the municipality to renovate it), and sector and seat numbers might not always be visible. If the match is at night, there are usually light shows, which are really cool. The Curva Nord is where the ultras stay, and people there often don't respect the assigned seating. I’d recommend sitting in the Tribuna Montepellegrino or Tribuna Centrale. Avoid the first 5 rows in both superior and inferior sectors. Forza Palermo

Irish here and aiming for the same game when I'm on my holidays. From what I understand tickets should be readily available with plenty of options on general sale.

My only experience of Italian football is attending Lazio vs Sampdoria in Rome and I have to say it was pretty poorly attended... Lots of tickets going.

Been a handful of times. It depends on the game really but generally it's not that difficult online. You can also buy them from the stadium directly on the day if you prefer if I'm not mistaken though I've never done this.

I went to seven games last season and none of those weren’t sold out. Maximum attendance for those games were somewhere 24k. Team is now better, there is more hope and they kicked Dionisi out so I think there can be games that it’s sold out. Anyway you’ll get the tickets 100% sure if you follow the team on Instagram and buy the tickets when you see the that the sales has started from the Ig story.
