australian student looking for exchange options

Hey everyone! Specifically aimed at those who are/have studied paramedicine in australia. I'm looking to go overseas to do an exchange, but im really struggling to find a place that I can go that even offers paramedicine or paramedic science as a degree. has anybody done exchange or a study abroad?

thanks so much !

I did my paramedicine degree in Australia (a long time ago now), but I am a dual US/Australian citizen, I live and work in the US now.

Unfortunately there is no direct equivalent to the Australian degree, I think UK might be similar but that be about it, here in the US the paramedic training is vastly different to Australia, but you can work here with some training with an Australian degree.

I'm about to graduate, so take this anecdotally, but other countries especially UK and US love Aussie paramedic degrees, you can potentially pick up placement in the US or UK, but even UK, our degree gives us a bigger scope of practice if moving to the UK, I think US is a bit different and dependant on the company you work for. Ask your uni about international placement, but Aussie degrees are highly regarded.
