Violated of HIPAA and advanced directive

That's terrible. I don't like hearing only one side of the story though.

Per a letter from risk manager Rhonda at GCH my POA gave Craig Cooley permission to Intubate because he did not have my advanced directive in front of him. Per Officer Larue of the Georgetown police department in Kentucky, he personally went to my home, picked up my advanced directive living will and DNR and handed it to Craig Cooley and witnessed him reading it BEFORE he intubated me. My POA did not give him permission to Intubate me because my POA is my daughter and was never called.
