Oliver Semmle Debut - North Carolina FC

Oliver Semmle’s debut with North Carolina FC was relatively quiet, just two saves, both in the final 10 minutes.

Unfortunately, a GOLAZO slipped past him, though his backline didn’t do him many favors on the play.

For the unaware, Blake is injured. Pierce Holbrook of Union II, who was on a short-term deal for last night's match against Chicago, suffered a non-contact injury, and Semmle is on loan with North Carolina FC.

Just saw the post about Holbrook getting called up. So Holbrook isn't a homegrown like Westfield was, so he's only eligible to be called up four times, unlike Westfield's six. So expect that if Blake misses more time, Sheridan's going to see time on the bench too, sooner than I had thought otherwise (probably three times).

Maybe more considering Holbrook had to be stretchered off during warmups yesterday

Seems like every time we loan out a depth piece, we immediately lose two other players at the same position to injury
