Lost & Found Found Cat Williams/Mississippi
Found this very human friendly cat. Looks like it used to be heavier but is losing weight. Cam back with food and water and it was gone.
Found in an alley between Williams and Mississippi near Unthank Park.

Lost & Found Found dog on Johnson Creek Blvd
My coworker found her around 5300 SE Johnson Creek and she's currently safe and sound (though a little freaked out) at our office. Very sweet and looks cared for. No collar. Checked nextdoor but didn't see any missing dogs matching her description. We'd love to get her home!

Adopt Me Cats!
Funny situation. There are tons of feral cats around our place, so we decided to feed them so we could catch them and get them fixed. We did get 8 or 9 fixed by the Feral Cat Coalition, but weāre suckers and felt bad stopping the feeding after that (so we didnāt stop). So now we have a bunch of cats who have become used to people. Three of our regulars are funny grey boy cat, and a pair of tabbies. We think the tabbies are siblings; they are very close, we even caught them in the humane trap at the same time! The thing is, weāre moving now and canāt take our indoor cats and all these random cats along. These two or three could make a household complete! The tiny girl tabs is super sweet, sheāll even let you pick her up! Her brother is a little more skittish, but he has come such a long way. We think grey boy was abandoned and possibly abused because he was already fixed but super shy, but heās coming out of his shell, heās starting to looove pets, and make biscuits, and find his voice! They all really deserve someone who can go slow and gentle with them. Theyāre good babies, and now they are fixed, and have their basic shots from FCCO. Would anyone like to adopt them? Or can anyone suggest a good foster resource in the Portland area who could take them and keep them safe until adoption?

Discussion To the PBOT woman who responded to the stabbing on NW 18th and Irving
You are a hero. Please take care of yourself today, surround yourself with loved ones, play Tetris (studies show it helps the brain process acute trauma). I heard the commotion from my apartment nearby and saw everything that happened right after the stabbing.
A houseless man was stabbed on NW Irving this morning and you were among the first to respond. I saw you jump into action, stay calm, apply way more than your standard first aid/fashion a tourniquet, worked with the nearby people to communicate and control the scene until police and EMS got there. I heard you say that you saw the whole thing, and your statement to police will hopefully help catch the person that did this. Thank you. That must have been incredibly stressful and terrifying.
The victim remained conscious and lucid as he was being loaded up into the ambulance so iām hopeful he survives.
I really hope you get to take the rest of the day off today ā¤ļø

Events Classic movies @ Fox Tower in September
EDIT: h/t to a commenter. Four theaters are participating: Fox Tower, Cascade, Bridgeport Village and Evergreen Parkway.
Happened upon this via the TikTok. Seems Fox Tower is the only Regal cinema in PDX participating.
Big fan of supporting indy theaters like Hollywood, Laurelhurst etc but figured others would like to know about this. Seems under-marketed. Don't know why more mainstream theaters don't do this. Looking forward to Raiders and Jaws at Hollywood later this week.

Discussion Random show on public access way back in the late 90s
This is going to be an absurdly random question. Back in like 98-99 on the Portland public access channel with a very random show / pseudo-soap opera about alternative youth, and there was a character named āFagtoastā that the other teens seemed to be constantly annoyed with. āGo away, FaaAAaagtoast.ā
The show was nestled in the mix of Jim Spagg and Moshi Moshi, the Japanese language show.
Iām guessing this wonāt ring any bells (or be deleted), but my sis and I called each other Fagtoast all the time and we canāt find info about the show for the life of us. Does this resonate with anyone?
