Audacity Ink, a local queer writing collective, is running workshops and has a call out up for the first issue of our upcoming zine!

The best place to see updates for both is on our Instagram, @audacity_ink.

On 14th August we have a workshop on Inclusive Worldbuilding, being run from the Panero Lounge on Palmerston Road. Tickets available on eventbrite.

Closing date for zine submissions is 31/08. Accepting fiction, poetry, and creative non-fiction.

We’re hosting our Post Harvest Festival on Hayling Island at the start of September.

With Craft Beer and live music from the Repeat Offenders we’ve lined up an evening of cracking entertainment and a great opportunity to hang out with your local countryside community.

The event will be attended by local farmers and the farming community as a wind down after a busy harvest. Why not come and hang out with us and enjoy a delicious beer while you’re at it.

If you want to get out of Portsmouth on at least one of the days while Victorious is on, I'm putting on quite possibly the best live band I've ever seen over in Southampton (I know, boo hiss) this Friday, 22/08/25

This gig is for fans of bands like Sodom, Venom, Motorhead, Slayer, etc.

⛓️Bütcher are coming over from Belgium and have three incredible albums under their belt, not only that their live show absolutely destroys and they're sure to crush some spines with their ferociously evil and fast riffs.

🌜Ominous Moon are from Essex and are only like, 18/19 years old but already have such a firm grasp on how to play first wave black/speed metal, they're going to be insane.

💎And it's Sätaniak's first live gig, but they're all well versed in gigging and are sure to deliver a raw slab of speed metal!
