Golf lessons RDU
I am 8 months in to my golf journey. I still have a terrible time with irons and my driver is 50/50 if I’m going to be able to play the next shot. I’ve been taking lessons at GOLFTEC. Inside on a hitting mat is wayyyy different than on the course. I feel I need an instructor with me on a real course. Advice for instructor in Raleigh.

Andrew Horne at X golf in Cary is my go to for lessons…. Totally changed my game. He could help ray charles break 100…. Two or three times a year he comes out with me for $125. He gives me lessons on all aspects of my game.

About a year into my golf journey and play the same. Just get out there and swing. If you're looking for a recently retired, shitty player who loves the game as a partner, let me know. We can learn together.

Try looking at lesson packages at the Duke/NCSU Campus. Should be outdoors on grass

You need to look at the golf pros at the local privates. Almost all accept non-members. When you take lessons with them, you will get access to the practice facility. Don't take lessons at a facility that uses mats primarily, or has a terrible conditioned grass range. I've tried a lot of them, and I'm not wed to any of them. 12 Oaks has Andrew Kiger. Prestonwood has Tom Ream. Wakefield has a few.
